Donate Furniture
The Rotary Furniture Bank relies on the generosity of people like you! Our aim is to collect gently used items and redirect them to families that do not have the funds to furnish their home. The majority of clients that receive furniture come to us through referrals from social assistance and aid agencies.
The majority of our clients are moving into small apartments with limited space. Below is a list of items we can and can not accept.

- Sofas
- Love seats
- Arm chairs
- Rocking chairs
- Coffee tables
- Small dining tables & chairs
- Complete dish sets
- Table-top microwave ovens
- Side tables
- Flat screen TVs with stand
- Bedside tables
- Dressers
- Small area rugs
- Clean mattresses in good condition. Queen or smaller
- Box springs
- Metal bed frames
- Lamps
We do not accept...
- Large appliances
- King size mattresses and box springs
- Large sectional couches
- Large Lay-Z-Boy Recliners
- Very large TVs
- Large dining room tables with leaves
- Furniture for babies / infants
- Sofa beds
- Futons
- Damaged items
- Any items that contain glass
We have one furniture pick-up day per month; this day is typically in the middle of the month. Submit your Furniture Donation Form and a volunteer from the Rotary Furniture Bank will contact you by phone in the coming days to confirm next steps.
Please note that we are only able to collect items that are available at the ground level of a home and from apartments with elevators.
If possible, please send photos of the items you would like to donate to: items@rotaryburlingtonnorth.com. Enter your name as the Subject of the email. You do not need to label each of the images. We reserve the right to refuse to collect items, upon in-person inspection, that we feel cannot be used by the clients we serve.
