Financial Donations & Support
The Rotary Furniture Bank is run by volunteers who donate their time, talent and vehicles to help those in need. Virtually all operating costs for the program are covered by the Rotary Burlington North Foundation. We are also very grateful to the following businesses and organizations for supporting the Furniture Bank with storage space, moving vehicles and furniture delivery services:
Financial donations to the Rotary Furniture Bank are welcomed! Funds donated to the program will be used to buy critical furniture items that are in short supply for our families in need.
Financial support for the Rotary Furniture Bank is channeled through the Rotary Burlington North Foundation, a registered Canadian Charity. Tax receipts will be issued for all donations above $20. “One of the things I like best about the Rotary Furniture Bank is that it gives vulnerable people dignity and agency; they are given the opportunity to view photos of the furniture we have available and they can select the furniture that they like best, the same way that most of us get to go shopping for our own furniture.
